Pujos: More than a Game

Crowds flock the St. Cardinals stadium every year. Not for the hot dogs and pretzels, but to see one man hit a home rome: Albert Pujos. Not only is the the most amazing player, but boy, can he hit home runs! In the book, Pujos More than a Game by Scott Lamb and Tim Ellsworth you can't help but be in awe of this legendary baseball player who ranks up there with the best of the best baseball players.

In this book, we see a very in depth look at Albert Pujos. Believe me, if you love sports, you want to read this book. Having a husband whose been a St. Louis Cardinal fan since childhood, I knew I wanted to read this book as well as give to my husband as a Valentines Day gift.

For Albert Pujus, it is more than a game. I can't recommend this book enough to everyone out there!!! I was given this book free to read but give my review with 5 Stars!

Wild at Heart Review

I recently got the opportunity to read Wild at Heart, by John Eldredge. I can't say this is a book I would read again but for someone struggling with their marriage, this could be a very helpful book. John Eldredge. As I was reading this book, I seemed to wonder if there were more opinions than truth. His thoughts versus what is based in the Scriptures. I can't say I can give this book a high recommendation but at the end of the day, each of us might think differently. Take this review with a grain of salt and read the reviews on this book to decide if you would like to read it.

I've been a Christian for many years and want solid evidence if someone is telling me something. This is definitely a book that I would want to verify the truths behind what he says. Everyone has opinions on different things. Don't take his opinion for law: check the facts!

I hope people will read this book to get their own opinion. Men and women are complex issues for sure. Don't be afraid to question something he says in the book. You will learn about your husband and men in general. This could be a very helpful book.

Plan B: Pete Wilson

When I first go the opportunity to review Plan B: by Pete Wilson, I wasn't quite sure what I would uncover when I open the book. I've never had the opportunity to hear about this man, but after doing a quick search I realized he really knows what he's talking about. So, I had no problem really diving myself into this book.

First, and foremost, this is a wonderful book to give someone who is just starting their live: graduates, new parents, divorcee's...etc. There are so many life changes that really can mess us up if we aren't fully prepared. This book covers these life changes and helps us know how to deal with them.

The truth is that Pete helps us understand that we can't avoid these changes, but we can learn to deal with the hurt, frustration, and disappointments along the way. If you are struggling with a life change, this book is for you and you will learn great tips!

Remember, life often catches us by surprise. If we can learn to handle those changes as Pete Wilson offers us, we can really learn to tackle situations better! No matter what situation you are going through, this book can help you get a game plan to be prepared on dealing with big life issues!
